In August of 2004, Britten's brilliant adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream was performed at the Lebanon Opera House to sold out audiences. Wayne Hu portrayed Staveling, the tailor (Moonshine), part of the rustics who collectively received particularly high praise in various newspaper and online reviews.
